There's actually a hidden reason why the enemies on the Floating Continent are so hard they're creatures made of pure magic, so you're meant to kill them by draining their MP instead of HP. Most players don't realize this though. But I think it's a neat little detail.

Also, I'd advise you to make a backup save right now since there's an important missable coming soon.

Really? I just murdered them with Mog + Shadow + Terra AoE attacks.

Most of them don't survive the first two blows.

But yeah this is the point where characters start becoming badly optimized for the game (my fourth char was Edgar and he was crap), so I can understand if it can be difficult depending on what party you bring.

Well, I mean, they're comparatively more difficult. It's FF6, so it's not like the enemies are challenging even if you just use brute force. Even when I replay the game I don't usually bother to drain their MP. But if you compare their HP to enemies in the previous dungeon they clearly had a massive step up.

The fence sells charms to add perks, like increased exp points, lowered drains, longer deadeye timers, etc.

I really needed the buck since it automatically upgrade pelt qualities. I have been sitting on that rabbit pelt challenge forever. They are too damn small to shoot accurately.

Yeah I don't like visiting certain places early. I like the idea of discovering new places as they continue on with the story. That doesn't mean that I've been progressing through the story very fast either though, every new area I find I scour pretty heavily.

I only went out of the way to hunt the legendary Buck because its bonus is too good to pass up. And I traveled all across the map to get those Gunslinger photos. But I still have a lot left to uncover.

It's weird to say that they "randomly" added it. It's really simple when you think about it. The idea is that G&W now directly references his old games when he uses his attacks. So they used the original source material when designing his animations. They wouldn't ever bother to look at some Game Boy Advance game to notice any changes since the whole point was to directly reference his original games, and they obviously weren't even aware that it had been changed at all. Being developed in Japan, where the offensive symbolism of that design wouldn't have been on anyone's radar, they wouldn't even have any reason to think that it would have been changed before and would have no reason to think about it until it was pointed out to them.

So that movie theater you can go to is really weird. Usually entertainment in GTA games is meant to be a parody of something and have hidden jokes in the subtext, but here I think Rockstar has finally lost their minds. It's literally just some weird morality play that would probably exist in that time period. There doesn't appear to be any hidden joke behind it, they just decided to write, animate, and voice a regular, somewhat boring filmstrip. They've really gone too far with side stuff like this

I haven't kept up too closely so I didn't know about it until now but other people have said that Classic being themed was mentioned before.

It was mentioned in the Direct that revealed Classic Mode.

The saddest thing about Piranha Plant being a character is that it's going to sour Bandana Waddle Dee's chances to be a character. I think they'll take note at the bad reaction to a common enemy being made a playable character, but that's a shame since Bandana Waddle Dee is so much better.
